For 10 years, we've made it our goal to cultivate meaningful experiences with everyone who walks through our doors. With you in mind, we've committed to a positive vision of the future – one that strengthens and nourishes the people in our company, our neighbourhoods and beyond.
OUR STORY
From a simple idea to a home base.
CAFE started with a simple idea: build a place people want to come back to. In the early days, that meant hosting events wherever we could find a room. Then we took it further, catering weddings, golf tournaments and private celebrations across the city.
Along the way, we learned that people didn't just want an event. They wanted a home base. So we built one – and then a few more.
Today, CAFE is six locations across Toronto, each with its own personality. The Boardroom, our event spaces at Bloor, St Clair, Harbord, Fort York and Broadview, plus the Boardroom Theatre, hosts CAFE Experiences and private events all year. And behind every counter, our baristas are pouring seasonal coffee menus worth crossing the city for.

Every decision we make comes back to three core principles: harm reduction, child safety and education. They come from a vision of a future where the greatest possible good is achieved, and they drive our mission to create a properly informed public for the betterment of our community and generations to come.
MISSION
Doing better, together.
We believe responsible living means doing better – not only personally, but locally too. We strive to help build healthier communities and improve the lives of the people in them.
Anchored in events and outreach, we take every opportunity to give back through local events, community initiatives and a diverse library of educational resources. Whether it's a comedy night, a paint session or a neighbourhood cleanup, we aim to engage, excite and always encourage fun.
CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
Education is at the forefront of everything we do.
Every new team member completes the AGCO's mandatory CanSell certification, along with a two-day comprehensive retail sales course administered by the Canadian Cannabis Retailers Union in partnership with the North American College of Pharmaceutical Technology, a private career college certified by the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities.
We also host educational forums with guest speakers and run product knowledge sessions for both staff and the public.

CAFE was built on the pioneering efforts of our partners, investors, budtenders and baristas. Through a spirit of inclusivity and a drive to change the world for the better, the people behind CAFE have shaped it into the unique presence it is today – from the retail counter to the coffee bar to The Boardroom.

Doing better, together.
Giving back has always been part of who we are. From our Community Cleanup in CityPlace in 2020 to the events and initiatives we host today, we show up for the neighbourhoods that show up for us.
