Summer is finally here, and it’s off to a fun start! Last weekend, we at CAFE were beyond excited to participate in the much-hyped Coffee Party Festival, which takes place at unique locations within downtown Toronto. The Coffee Party is a daytime event featuring live DJs, some of the city’s best coffee makers and an overall trend towards a healthier, less alcohol focused type of dance party that is really taking off these days. In fact, the slogan promoted by The Coffee Party reads “No hangovers. Just high-fives, caffeine highs and spontaneous dance circles.” Here at CAFE, we are happy to collaborate with others like The Coffee Party on events that promote wellness, celebrate local talent and strengthen ties within the community.

The June Coffee Party was held at Stackt Market, a quaint outdoor space close to Fort York filled with small clothing and craft goods stores, snack vendors and even a couple of ice cream shops! Our CAFE booth was positioned just off the main stage, alongside The Blue Moon Brewery and many other local vendors. The day began with a yoga session for anyone to join – and it was a full class! As the day went on, DJs swapped turns spinning beats that got the crowd dancing and full of energy. It was a truly beautiful day, bright and sunny and full of good vibes!

Our team of baristas showed up and truly shone! CAFE was definitely the most popular stop for coffee at the event, with an endless lineup of people wanting to sample our Barocco coffee and iced lattes and lemonades. We even had Euphoria’s chocolate fountain on hand, serving up non-infused Belgian chocolate alongside delectable fruit skewers waiting to be dipped. Needless to say, our booth was quite busy throughout the entire day. Our baristas worked efficiently, serving up drink after drink amidst tons of joy, laughs and of course, vibing to the music!

We were happy to see Toronto artist Duro the Third in action at The Coffee Party Festival! In his usual style, Duro live painted a beautiful piece of art specially for the event. Seeing a live artist at an event is something special for event-goers, who get a firsthand look at the artistic process as they observe the artist in his element. For artists like Duro, it must be a unique experience as well to create a unique piece of art, with so many onlookers watching it happen. The piece came to life as the day went on, with many stopping to chat with Duro and take pictures and videos for social media.

We had a great time at The Coffee Party Festival, and look forward to being at their next event in September! To keep in the loop on the latest events at CAFE, stay tuned to our blog, sign up to our newsletter and follow us on Instagram!
