This past weekend, CAFE hosted the long anticipated SENSES dinner featuring one of Canada’s most renowned names in the culinary world – Chef Antonin Mousseau Rivard. Chef Antonin is from Montreal, and his restaurant Le Mousso is rated 6th in all of Canada. Chef Antonin is passionate about food and cannabis, and we were honoured to work with him and his team on this exciting infused dinner!
The SENSES dinner took place at a private venue in downtown Toronto, with stunning views of the city on all sides. Guests were seated side by side at long tables, making for a cozy, comfortable and intimate setting where laughter and conversations flowed into the night. Our favourite acoustic singer Jodie B brought the music, while Chef Antonin and his team bustled about the kitchen, individually dosing each dish to each guests’ preference. The dinner kicked off with an infused, uniquely paired foie gras and cotton candy appetizer before the exquisitely plated dinner courses were brought out. Guests enjoyed Chef Antonin’s famous and stunningly beautiful soup-salad, followed by tuna tartare and raw lamb with marinated mushrooms. A scrumptious serving of fine Belgian chocolate topped with coffee cream rounded out the dinner experience. At the end, each guest received a goody bag filled with gifts from our sponsors. We are happy to say this dinner was a smashing success, and we can’t wait for the next one!
