The holiday season is quickly approaching — a time filled with celebration, connection and giving. Yet for many across Canada, the past few years have brought ongoing challenges, and the need for support has grown. Food banks continue to see record demand, as more individuals and families struggle with food insecurity.
At CAFE, community has always been at the heart of what we do. Through our events, initiatives and charitable efforts, we aim to create meaningful impact and uplift those around us. This year, we’re proud to host our 8th Annual Holiday Food Drive — an initiative focused on raising awareness of food insecurity and collecting donations in support of three incredible local organizations: Parkdale Food Bank, Flemingdon Food Bank and Fort York Food Bank.
This year, our Holiday Food Drive runs from November 01 through 30, 2025. Each of our six downtown CAFE dispensary locations will feature a large bin, where our patrons and community members may drop off non-perishable food items for donation. CAFE will match all donations collected, and aim to drop off all food to our local community partners just in time for the holidays. This year, our goal is 1000lb of food collected! We will also be donating $2 for every purchase of $50 or more in store or online for delivery or mail order.
