At CAFE, being part of a neighbourhood means more than simply having a storefront there. It means taking care of the community around us, connecting with our neighbours and doing our part to keep Toronto looking its best.
Recently, the team at our 1321 St. Clair Ave. W. CAFE Dispensary traded their usual morning routine for gloves, garbage bags and litter pickers as they headed out for our latest community cleanup.

An Early Start for a Cleaner St. Clair West
Staff members volunteered to come in early and get to work before the day got underway. Armed with cleanup supplies and plenty of team spirit, the group hit the streets surrounding our St. Clair West location.

The team covered several blocks along St. Clair Avenue West, working both east and west of the shop, while also making their way through nearby side streets and laneways. From discarded cups and wrappers to all the little pieces of litter that tend to accumulate along busy city streets, the crew worked together to collect as much garbage as possible.

By the end of the cleanup, plenty of bags had been filled and the surrounding blocks were looking noticeably fresher.

A Little Effort Goes a Long Way
One of the best parts of the morning was the response from the community itself. As our team made its way through the neighbourhood, local residents and passersby stopped to offer words of encouragement, thank the staff and tell them they were doing a great job.

Those small interactions are exactly why initiatives like these matter to us.

CAFE has always believed that a cannabis dispensary can and should be a positive part of the neighbourhood it serves. Our stores aren’t just places to shop. They’re staffed by people who live, work and spend time in these communities, and we believe that comes with a responsibility to contribute wherever we can.
Proud to Be Part of St. Clair West
From community cleanups and local events to supporting neighbourhood initiatives, we are always looking for ways to give back to the communities that have supported CAFE over the years.

Cleaning a few blocks of Toronto might seem like a small gesture, but when local businesses and residents take pride in the spaces around them, those efforts add up. Cleaner streets create more welcoming neighbourhoods for everyone.
A big thank you goes out to the CAFE St. Clair team who volunteered their time and energy to make this cleanup happen, and to everyone in the neighbourhood who stopped to share a kind word along the way.
We’re proud to call St. Clair West home, and we’ll keep doing our part to take care of it.
Across the city, our team at 104 Harbord St also gathered together their cleaning supplies and tackled the streets, laneways and local park in their neighbourhood. We appreciate all their hard work!
