We’re Walking The Coldest Night of The Year!

The Coldest Night of The Year (CNOY) Walkathon is an incredible, annual event where tens of thousands of Canadians step outside the warmth and comfort of their homes to shine a light of hope and compassion in their communities. Remarkably, the Coldest Night of the Year has raised over $43,500,000 in 149 communities across Canada since it began in 2011.

CAFE is proud to announce that we will be taking part in the Coldest Night of the Year Walkathon event on Saturday, February 26, 2022. We will be partnering with Fort York Food Bank (FYFB), a local community organization dedicated to providing food, resources and social supports to Toronto’s most marginalized individuals and families. CAFE is a longtime supporter of FYFB, and regularly works with this organization to help raise funds, directly access food donations and raise awareness about homelessness through our blog and social media channels.

On the Coldest Night of the Year, CAFE staff will walk as a team, alongside volunteers and other community partners that wish to join us. We will be raising funds as well as donating a portion of sales to Fort York Food Bank, and we hope that our actions inspire other businesses in the cannabis industry to do the same. In addition to forming our own team, we have also reached out to other businesses we work with, encouraging them to form their own teams or simply join ours. We believe that we must work together in order to effect social change, and we hope that the actions we take today make a positive difference in the lives of others in our community.

Want to join our team? Registration is now open. Visit our team page, sign up to walk with us, or simply make a donation in any amount that you’re comfortable with! We look forward to walking for this incredible cause, and appreciate the support from our patrons as we work towards creating positive change in our community.
