There’s a new place to hang out, light up and have a little fun in Toronto’s west end.
This past spring, we opened the doors to our newest Boardroom at CAFE, located inside our CAFE Dispensary at 932 Bloor St. W. Since then, the space has already played host to comedy nights, bingo and plenty of memorable evenings, and we’re only getting started.
If you haven’t experienced an event at our newest Boardroom yet, consider this your introduction.
A Different Kind of Night Out in Toronto
The Boardroom was created around a pretty simple idea: cannabis and community belong together.
Our events offer adults a welcoming, cannabis-friendly environment where they can get together, meet new people and enjoy everything from live comedy to games and creative experiences.
The new 932 Bloor Boardroom brings that concept into a particularly intimate setting. The room is cozy, atmospheric and just the right size to make every event feel like you’re part of the action.
For comedy, that means being only a few feet away from the performers and sharing every laugh with the room. For bingo, it means tables full of guests joking, chatting, smoking and getting increasingly invested in every number called.
And yes, guests can enjoy cannabis while they’re here. It’s part of what makes a Boardroom night such a uniquely CAFE experience.
Comedy Hits Different Up Close
We’ve already hosted several comedy events at 932 Bloor, and the space was practically made for stand-up.
There’s something special about comedy in a smaller room. The comedian can interact directly with the crowd, the audience feeds off one another and even the spontaneous moments become part of the show.
Add a cannabis-friendly atmosphere into the mix and things can get very funny, very quickly.
Our 932 Bloor stage has already welcomed comedians and audiences for nights filled with big laughs, good weed and the kind of relaxed energy that makes you want to stick around long after the show ends.
Blaze, Bingo & Good Company
Comedy isn’t the only thing happening here. Our Blaze & Bingo nights bring a completely different energy to the Boardroom, turning the space into a lively cannabis-friendly game night.
Guests can grab a seat with friends, enjoy some cannabis and settle in for a few rounds of bingo. Between the games, conversation flows, tables get to know one another and the whole room takes on that easygoing neighbourhood feel we love.
You might arrive hoping to win, but the real fun is everything happening between the numbers.
Cozy, Intimate and Very CAFE
One of our favourite things about the new Boardroom is its atmosphere.
Dark walls, moody lighting, greenery and warm red accents give the space a laid-back lounge feel. Once the room fills up and a little smoke starts drifting through the air, it transforms into something that feels worlds away from the busy streets outside.
And because the venue is connected to our 932 Bloor CAFE Dispensary, the entire experience brings together two sides of CAFE: great cannabis and the culture and community surrounding it.
It isn’t about simply creating another event venue. We wanted a place where cannabis consumers could actually feel at home.
And We’re Just Getting Started
The first few months at 932 Bloor have given us a taste of what this little space can become, and there is plenty more ahead.
Expect more comedy. More bingo. More cannabis-friendly gatherings. And, as always with the Boardroom, a few surprises along the way.
